Cruze Triplett

Dear Cruze,

Your time with us has been way too short.  But your impact on our lives will never fade.  We first want you to know just how much we wanted you.

We prayed for you and waited so long for you. When we knew that you were on your way to our family, each day was like waiting for Christmas morning. Your sister- Lauren and your
brothers- Evan, Reece and Archer, would ask about how big you were and what stage you were in growing, everyday. They gave you your name, your sister and your brothers. And when we lost you, they were broken hearted. We all were.

The day you were born, you were perfect, 10 little fingers and 10 little toes. Holding you in our arms and saying good-bye to you was the hardest thing we have ever done.

The dream of "what could have been" that we held onto for 5 months is still hard to let go of. We ask ourselves all the time, which one of your brother's would you have looked more like?  Would you have liked dinosaurs or cars?

We might not be able to hold you in our arms, but you will always be a major part of our family and our lives. Your influence will always be here. You taught us to not take each other for granted. To love and forgive and to always think the best of each other. To speak a little softer to one another and to hug a little longer. You will always be a part of us. We will hear you in the laughter of your siblings, and see you in the light that shines in their eyes. In every compassionate act we see or every good thing we feel, that is where we will meet you. You have forever changed us, we will never be the same.

Your Mom and Dad, sister and brothers will carry you in our heart for the rest of our lives. Most people only dream of angels, we got to hold one in our arms.
