Curtis N. Stagg
OGDEN – Our beloved son, brother and friend, Curtis Niel Stagg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Though he is dearly missed, he is surrounded and comforted by loved ones who have preceded him in death.
Curtis was born February 6, 1987 and grew up in Ogden, Utah. He was a very intelligent, unique, respectful and talented person. Curtis had a strong determination to constantly improve himself. One of the many ways he showed his desire to learn and grow was by earning his black belt in karate at the age of 16. He always had a talent for the artistic things in life. He had a kind, gentle nature with animals, especially our dog Spud. Curtis had a passion for skiing, scuba diving, camping and being with nature.
Curtis graduated from Ogden High School in 2005 and was rewarded for his academic achievements and good work ethic with an Army R.O.T.C. Scholarship to the University of San Francisco, which was later transferred to Weber State University.
He will always be remembered and deeply missed by his father Niel, his mother Ruth Ann, his twin brother Blake, his younger brothers Jeffrey and Quinn, and his younger sister Carly.
Curtis was the light of our lives and was always able to bring joy, happiness and laughter to the many who had the pleasure of knowing him. We will forever remember his winning smile and beautiful spirit.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Shadow Ridge Ward Chapel, 1401 Country Hills Drive with Bishop Brett Muse officiating.
