Dakota Ray Kilburn

Dakota Ray Kilburn, 14, passed away on April 18, 2017 at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah, surrounded by his family.  He will live on in the lucky new Vikings fans that received the organs he so generously donated.

He is the son of Burke Kilburn (Penny) and Hollie Loya (Henry). He was born July 17, 2002 and attended Syracuse Jr. High, where he was a member of the Choir and the wrestling team.  He lived and breathed football, and was the biggest Minnesota Viking fan.  He was a friend to everyone he met and put a smile on their face.

He is survived by his loving parents, brothers Patrick and Durke, several Bonus/step-brothers and sisters, and his grandparents Bruce and Pat Maddox, Robert Kilburn (Kathy) and Terry Kilburn (Bruce).

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
