Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Dale K. Bradshaw, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
He was born January 1, 1925 at the Bradshaw Family Homestead in Wellsville, Utah, the son of Orrice Barnes and Josephine Kington Bradshaw. He was the youngest of six children. He grew up in Wellsville and attended South Cache High School.
Dale joined the US Air Force in 1943 and served during World War II. He trained as a pilot and served until 1946.
He met his sweet heart and May 25, 1946, Dale married Ramona Dana in Elko, Nevada. They were married 67 years and together raised four boys.
Dale was an Assistant Manager at Cream of Weber Dairy in Casper, Wyoming. He was the owner of a Western Auto Store in Logan, Utah. He was also an Aircraft Foreman at Hill Air Force Base for 24 years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dale loved fishing and camping. He also enjoyed spending the winter months in Yuma, Arizona for several years. He loved his family and created many family photo albums with cherished family memories.
Dale is survived by his wife, Ramona, West Point; four sons, Michael Dale (Laurie), Hal Dana (Kathi), Gary Dana (Janice), Brett Dana (Colleen), 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Jerry, Evelyn, Margarete, Beryl and Boyd.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 9th at 2 p.m. at the West Point City Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West.
The family will meet with friends Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
