Dale Clyde Campbell

Dale Clyde Campbell was born in Ogden, on June 27, 1947 to Jay Clyde and Gladys Williams Parrish Campbell. On Friday, December 5, 2014, Dale returned home to his Heavenly Father and wife Stacey. Dale leaves behind six children, Stacy (Dennis) Martin, Cory (Andi) Campbell, Jamie (Steve) Pierce, from his marriage to Susan Diamond, who has remained a lifelong friend; Richard (Amy) Campbell, Kelly Campbell, and Markie Campbell from his marriage to Stacey; including 16 grandchildren who loved and adored their “papa”; and brothers, Brent (Julie) Campbell and Melvin Campbell.
Dale was a hard working man. He strived to work hard for his success for himself and for others. His extraordinary acts of giving to different charities and helping different community works made him a selfless, giving, wonderful man that will always be remembered.
When Dale wasn’t at work or doing charity services, you could always find him out at the golf course with his golf buddies.
Dale left many memories that family, friends, and co-workers will always cherish. He will be loved and missed by many.
Dale Campbell has over 42 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry and has been with R&O Construction for more than 25 years. He began his career at R&O as an estimator, moved on to vice-president of marketing and business development, and in 2004 was promoted to President. After 10 years as President, Dale stepped aside and again took over the marketing and business development function as Executive Vice President.
Dale holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Weber State University, and has remained involved in the University serving as President of the Weber State University Alumni Board and member of the Board of Trustees; on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Business and Economics, and initiated a scholarship program for Construction Management students.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 12 p.m. at the Val A. Browning Center at Weber State University, 1901 University Circle, Ogden. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Browning Center. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at any America First Credit Union in the name of Dale C. Campbell Memorial Fund or to your favorite charity in Dale’s honor.
