Dallen Jex Barber Dallen Jex Barber, 59, passed away December 11, 2007 at his home in North Salt Lake, Utah. He was born August 4, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Jex H. and Dorethy V. Jones Barber. Married Sharon Case, later divorced. Dallen was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints, serving a Southwestern States Mission. He enjoyed old cars, woodworking and loved to dress up as Santa. He is survived by his children; Steven D. (Amy), Kenneth R., Mark J. (Valerie), Wendy (Mike) Schmidt, and Trisha Barber; eight grandchildren; two brothers Layne H. (Jill), Bradley V. (Annette); two sisters Kathryn (Robert) Decker and Elyse B. Tipton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 14, 2007 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday 9:45-10:45 am prior to services.
