LAYTON a€" Damon John Gallegos, 39, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013.

He was born December 8, 1973 in Ogden, Utah the son of John F. and Linda Walton Gallegos.

Damon married Heather Keesler. They later divorced.

Some of his greatest memories were hunting, camping and riding horses with Grandpa Gallegos and he also loved working with his Grandpa Walton on the fruit farm. He touched many lives with his humor, generosity and kindness. He will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends.

Surviving are his step-children, Ashton, Josh, parents John and Linda Gallegos, Layton; brother Mason (Alesha) Gallegos, Clinton; sister Raquel (Luke) Gallegos, Layton; nieces, Peyton and Karli; nephews, Karston, Preston and Cash.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille and Willis Walton, Joe B. and Bertha Gallegos, cousin Michael Valdez and Uncles Joe and Dan.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date for friends and family.

Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
