Daniel K. Booth
NORTH OGDEN a" Daniel K. Booth was born January 23, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. He died on Sunday, July 8, 2012 after multiple complications after surgery.
He lived in San Antonio, Texas until 1997, when his job brought him from Kelly AFB, TX to Hill AFB, UT.
Daniel was a scout leader in Texas and in Utah.
He was employed at HAFB as a Supervisor in Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles and was loved by his employees.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce, son Matthew of Ogden, UT, father Earl Booth (wife Joyce), sisters Debbie Young, Julie (Glen) Gueller, nephews Trey, Michael, Wesley, Troy, niece Tiffany, and grand-nephew William, all of San Antonio, TX.
Preceded in death by his mothers, Lola Jean Booth and Clara Wolf.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
The family would like to thank the ICU and surgical care staff at McKay-Dee Hospital for all the care given to Dan. We especially wish to thank Dr. Tyler Christensen (Dr. C, you are a great doctor and we all appreciate everything you did for him.)
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity. It was important to Dan to take care of those less fortunate who needed food, of the children who needed protection, and of the pets who needed someone to care for them.
