Daniel G. Cameron

Daniel G. Cameron, 76, passed away at home.  The last five years he has suffered with many illnesses.  Dan was born on August 26, 1938 to Francis and Freda Cameron in Burlington, Vermont.  He served four years in the Air Force.

He married Sharon J. Buckway.  They had five children and divorced.  Later married LaWana E.Tanner.  They have been married 43 years. They had one daughter and he raised his stepson.

Dan retired from HAFB after 34 years.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, LaWana; his children, Tammy Christman, Danene (Rick) Fowler, Richard (DeeDee) Cameron, Greg (Terry) Cameron, Danny (Diana) Cameron, Scott Cole, and Jill Davila; 19 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his three sisters, Anne Gauthier, MO, Carolyn Putman, VT, and Freda Jones, VT; and his loving dog, Koda.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Reid; father-in-law, Richard Tanner.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the 4 ^th Ward, 1791 North 600 East, North Ogden.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
