Our husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Daniel Charles Hastings, 67, passed away at home surrounded by those he loved.

Daniel married Debra on May 8, 1987. Together they raised eight children and attended many life events that they were a part of.

Daniel served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Daniel thrived in the outdoors, enjoying rock and fossil hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar and having jam sessions with friends.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Debra Hastings of Harrisville, UT; children, Linda Wilson of Garland, UT; Monica Brooks of Harrisville UT; Billie Hill (Scott Kennedy) of Ogden, UT; Taryn (Rick) Sandberg of Brigham City, UT; Amiee Heald of Tremonton, UT; Sarah Cox of Harrisville, UT; Adam Joel Hastings of Draper, UT; and Daniel Dean Hastings of Boise, ID. Daniel has 25 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Ralph D. and Ellen Clark Hastings; his brother, Jeff; and one grandson, Baby Caiden.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
