Daniel James Perry was killed in an auto accident on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Daniel was born on January 6, 1979 to Anne Lindquist and Darren Perry. He was raised and schooled in South Ogden.
He married the love of his life, and his best friend, Sarah Woodward on May 14, 1999. On June 26, 2006 their son Ethan was born. Being a dad to Ethan, was Daniel''s greatest joy in life. He often commented that being a dad was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.
Daniel graduated in May from Weber State University with a Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed at Trinity Industries. He loved to work with his hands. Fabrication was his job as well as a hobby.
Daniel loved spending time in the mountains with his family and building a cabin was one of his major goals after he completed his degree.
He was a man whose personal conduct was not decided by religion or law. He had an internal moral compass that guided him in all he did. His personal integrity and sense of humor allowed him to point out and laugh at his own flaws, which led to Daniel being called "best friend" by many.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Sarah and his son, Ethan Daniel, his mother, Anne Lindquist, one brother, Ian Perry, his cousin Mario Soto, who was just like a brother to him. Also surviving are several cousins, aunts, and uncles and one nephew, Samuel Perry.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Daniel Lindquist and his lifelong friend, Michael West.
