Danny E. Taylor
OGDEN – Danny Evan Taylor, our sweet “Danny Boy”, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at the age of 49, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 24, 1960 in American Fork, Utah, a son of Jay Vernon and Eva Bunnell Taylor. In Danny’s childhood, he attended a training school for the developmentally disabled. He worked for many years at Enable Industries where he did well at whatever he was required to do. However, his true profession was a teacher of life’s lessons such as: compassion, empathy, patience, humility, unconditional love, and the value of laughter. He loved bowling, trucks, dancing, music, food, family and a good long belly laugh.
He is survived by his longtime dedicated mother, Eva Taylor, three sisters, Jeannie (Steve) Jackson, Julie (Jack) Taylor, and Debbie (Thomas) Nelson, one brother, Michael (Linda) Taylor, three nieces, six nephews and 13 great-nieces/nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Taylor and his father, Jay Taylor.
The family would like to especially thank every doctor, nurse, technician and caregiver involved in Danny’s continuous medical care.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
