Darleine Swainston Martin

Our dear, sweet, loving mother and grandmother, has joined our Father in Heaven. Darleine S. Martin passed away on April 18, 2012 peacefully at her home. She is finally free from pain and her earthly limitations. She was born in Jerome, Idaho on November 3, 1932 to Leo and Audra Swainston. She spent most of her adult life in Ogden, Utah. She married Dee J. Martin on October 25, 1952 and was later sealed in the Logan Temple with her family.

Darleine was blessed with 5 children: Joy (Bill) Williams, Boise, Idaho; Judy (Randall) Jensen, Dennis (Stacy) Martin, Janet Wilson and Carol (Larry) Anglesey all of Ogden; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Norman Swainston and Darrell Swainston of Idaho; and sister, Nancy (Don) Permann, Ogden. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Keith, Nyle and Ross Swainston.

We want to thank Dave, her "Pharmacy Guy", Brenda, her home health nurse and the countless others that made her days so much easier.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Lewis 5th Ward, 550 East 900 North. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Franklin, Idaho cemetery.
