Darlene Garrison O' Connor

Darlene Garrison Malmrose O'' Connor, 83, passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at her home surrounded by her children.

She was born April 16, 1926 in Ogden, Utah to Roy Elmer and Pearl Eliza Briggs Garrison. She grew up in Perry, Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1944. She also graduated from Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and had worked at the LDS Hospital and McKay-Dee Hospital as a registered nurse.

Darlene married Ray Eugene Malmrose on July 30, 1947 and they had five children together. They later divorced. On July 20, 1983, Darlene married George Deming O''Connor. George preceded her in death on December 30, 1990.

She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, fishing and camping. She especially loved her children and her pet dogs.

Darlene is survived by her children, Rees Hyrum Malmrose, Tyler Garrison Malmrose, Alisa Pearl (Jim) Cosper, Janet Rae Frodsham; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, a son, Eric Paul Malmrose, two grandchildren, Cody Ray Frodsham, Amber Christine Frodsham, and two sisters, Juanita P. Petersen and Donna M. Garrison.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 28th at 3:00 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 South 300 East.

The family will meet friends on Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
