Darlene Nalder Megill
Kaysville - Darlene Megill, beloved wife, mom, grandma, and aunt, is now singing in the heavens with Don as she joined him on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Darlene was born August 26, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Irvin L. and Mary Nalder.
She married the love of her life Don Megill on November 21, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple on July 28, 1960. Don and Darlene were thrilled to become parents to Mike and Jennifer when they lived in Wisconsin.
Don and Darlene enjoyed playing golf, and she loved tending to her beautiful rose garden.
Darlene loved singing in the church choir with Don. She was so proud to sing in the Temple at the Bountiful Temple dedication.
Darlene was the ultimate proud grandma when her granddaughter Ally was born. Ally loved coloring and hanging out with her Grandma Darlene.
You could never find Darlene without her Coke and working on her famous cross stitch creations that she shared with her family and friends.
Darlene enjoyed walking and having lunch with "the ladies", and spending time with her many special friends.
Survived by son Mike (Cherilyn), granddaughter Ally, daughter Jennifer and family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, brother Duane and nephew Blake.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street. Friends may visit family Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
