Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Darlene M. Davis Teeter, 73, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Heritage Park Care Center.
She was born April 17, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Carl and Dorothy Baker Davis. She attended Ben Lomond High School.
In 1958, Darlene married Ray Teeter and they were blessed with five beautiful children. They later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Darlene worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base.
She loved her family and was an excellent cook and house-keeper. She loved being with her children and grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Peachtree for their love and care for the three years Darlene lived there. Thanks to Heritage Park Care Center for the gentle way they cared for our mother and sister. Also, thanks to Inspiration Hospice for their love and support. She made very special friends at all the centers that cared for her.
Darlene is survived by her sons, Kim (Cecilia) Teeter, Kurt (Jennifer) Teeter, three grandsons, three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Carol Sisk, Shirley Watkins and Linda Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Wynn Teeter, Neil Scott Teeter, her only daughter, Charlene Teeter, and three brothers, Boyd, Kenneth and Mike Davis.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 25th at 11 a.m. at the West Warren Cemetery, 6700 West 700 North.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
