Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born in Portland, Oregon, on March 19, 1935, the daughter of Howard Worth and Gwenith Douglas Stone. 

 

Darlene married Asael ElVoid Lee in June of 1969 and he passed away in May 1979. She married Jasper Louis Wade on November 20, 2015 in Washington Terrace.

 

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 

Darlene was active in the Senior Citizen Community. She was accomplished in all aspects of medium art. She loved making porcelain dolls, quilting, and painting.  She also enjoyed Genealogy and being a Ogden Temple worker.

 

Darlene is survived by her husband; four children, Stephanie (David) Cook, Paul E. Lee, Denzil O. Lee, and Raelene Kennedy (Kelly); 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, James (Judy) Schufeldt. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dean Stone; sister, Jean English; granddaughter, Alaina Davis; and grandson, Corey Cook. 

 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Washington Terrace West Stake 2nd Ward, 4855 South 300 West.  Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

 

The family would like to thank Atlas Hospice nurses especially, Crystal and Shanna and others for the wonderful care they gave to Darlene.
