SYRACUSE, UTAH a€" Darold Fred Browning, 51, passed away unexpectedly in his Syracuse home. Darold was born November 24, 1955 in Hunter AFB, Savannah, Georgia to Ralph Homer Browning and Vernie Mae Bowman Browning.

On July 22, 1984 Darold married Deanne Pitzak in Las Vegas, Nevada. Darold worked in construction most of his life with Eddy L. Shaw Construction and more recently Kastle Rock Excavation.

He was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan, and a loyal Georgia Bulldog supporter. He had a passion for baseball and football as well. He loved the outdoors and having barbeques with his family and friends.

Darold was outgoing and friendly to everyone he came in contact with and has collected numerous loyal friends. Darold adored his daughter Katie Nicole who was born January 23, 1985.

He is survived by his loving wife Deanne, daughter Katie, mother Vernie Browning, his aunts and uncles, Ray and Jean Williams, Harless and Delores Mitchem, Leroy and Brenda Bowman, Clifford and Brenda Bowman, Linda Browning and Nelda Quesenberry and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Browning and his grandparents, Robert and Eula Browning, and "granny" Dorothy East.

A viewing will be held for friends and family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA.
