Darrell Wayne “Bill” Buatte

July 19, 1932 ~ April 12, 2017

Our loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Bill Buatte, age 84, returned to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday April 12, 2017.

He was born in Paris, Missouri. He married Patricia Sibert on April 19, 1958. Bill served in the Navy; he then worked as a supervisor at Defense Depot of Ogden, retiring after 38 years of service.

Bill was a valued member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, for over 50 years. He dedicated his life to helping others that had very little or nothing at all, by doing fundraisers.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; a man that could walk in the room and brighten up your day.

Bill is survived by his son, Robert (Sherrie); daughters, Lynda and Robyn; and two other children, Tyler (Cassie) and Heather (Steve) Stewart. Also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; his brother, Ed (Susan) Buatte, Les Buatte, and James Buatte. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; parents; daughter, Carol; brother, Ken; and sister, Dot.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
