Darrell LaVon Moser "Dirk" (1921-2010)

Darrell Moser passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2010, in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born September 6, 1921, in Preston, Idaho to John David and Alene Taylor Moser. Darrell grew up in Idaho on a farm working hard, loving his family and playing all sports. Darrell served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was proud of his years as a contractor and his many acquaintances and the projects he completed.

He was a loving devoted husband married to Retta Howell Moser for 51 years.

Darrell was preceded in death by his four brothers and two sisters and survived by his sister, EmaJean Golightly. He was blessed by many children Darla (Merrill) Downs, Paula (Glen Jay) Thornley, Dennis (Juliene) Scott, Karlynn Canfield (deceased), Teresa (Richard) Woodland, Nancy Hirst, Kathleen (Jim) Anderson, Peggy Daveline, Alene (Kelly) Larsen, Margo (Victor) Parry.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 at noon at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Friends may call from 10:30 a€" 11:30 am at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. prior to services.
