Darwin Jay Park
58, of ALAMONT, Utah, died Thursday at The George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center due to complications from appendicitis.
He was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Ogden, to Clifford Jay and Maxine Zaugg Park of Clearfield.
He graduated from Clearfield High School and served in the Navy.
He is survived by his parents, his daughter, Daynel Martinez of Roy, and her four children: and his son, Dustin Ketchum of Casper, Wyo., and his two sons.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Marlene Poore, Ardell Park, Rodney Park, Dale Park, Brenda Schmitz, Tammy Long, Denise Poll, Debbie, Carroll, Sheri Furce and Le Anne Williams, as well as 31 nieces and nephews, plus 31 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call from 9:45 to 10:45.
