Darwin J. Wheeler
OGDEN – Darwin Jay Wheeler, 64, our loving and caring husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Monday, June 18, 2007.
Born in Trenton, Utah on September 4, 1942 to Arnold and Ervona L. Payne Wheeler, he lived most of his life in the Ogden area graduating from Ben Lomond High School.
He married Judy Phillips and they had two sons together, Jim and Ronnie. They later divorced. Dar married LouJean Crezee Wagstaff on October 9, 1981 and was the most loving husband and wonderful father to her five children, Cheryl Goff, Jerry, Mike, Steve and Michelle Pigeau.
He served with the U.S. Army. Following his discharge he became a journeyman lineman for Utah Power for many years. He then worked construction for I.B.E.W. for many years, and retired from Autoliv.
Dar was such a loving, kind man and had a heart of gold. He loved camping, fishing and used to love to play the guitar, sing and dance. He loved spending time with his family and so adored his grandchildren. He spent time teaching them so much and taught all five kids to drive. Darwin touched so many lives during his time here on earth. He was such a hard worker. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Darwin is survived by his wife, LouJean Wheeler, daughter, Cheryl, sons, Mike and Steve, six grandchildren, Trent, Bryce, Preslee, Journee and Ashlee Goff, Candice Smith, and two great-grandchildren, Blaize Parsons and Tyler Atkinson.
Also surviving are two brothers, Earl (Chris) Wheeler, Arnie Wheeler, one sister, Sharol (Bill) Burnam, sister-in-law, Sharon (Joe) Feaster, brother-in-law, Larry (Barbra) Crezee, several nephews and nieces and two sons, Jim and Ronnie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Ervona, two children, Jerry and Michelle, grandson, Kasey, and his mother and father-in-law, Ellen and Claude Crezee.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., where Military Honors will be accorded.
