Daun Kathleen Jordan, 70, of Roy, Utah, passed away on August 22, 2024 at Ogden Regional Medical Center after a long battle of cancer. Daun was born on July 22, 1954, in Fontana, California, to Betty Ann Cushman and Harry Leroy Moody, where she lived with 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Early on in her childhood her family moved to Utah. After graduating from Bonneville High School, Daun went on to be a beautician for a short time. She worked various warehouse jobs throughout her life, ending at Levy Home Entertainment (ReaderLink) until she retired.
Daun married James Pierre Fordham in Salt Lake City, Utah, and had her son Kyle James Fordham and later divorced. Years later she married Fred Albert Jordan, Jr. in Ogden, Utah and had her daughter Keila Leann Valenti (Jordan) until they divorced in 2003.
Daun was a very hardworking person, always throwing herself into her work and her family life. She had such great wisdom and truth to her vivacious character that she tried to instill on her children. She had many friends that she loved just like family. Daun loved to watch crime shows, Court TV and read on her off time.
Daun was a dedicated grandmother. She was their biggest support system and never missed a chance to see them succeed at a task.
Daun is survived by her son Kyle Fordham, Ogden, Utah; daughter Keila Valenti (Dominic), Roy, Utah; sisters, Crystal Vendeiro (Craig), Roy, Utah; and Sherrell Hart (Jim), Roy, Utah. She is also survived by 2 nieces, Becky Vendeiro, Layton, Utah, Andrea Vendeiro, Las Vegas, Nevada and 1 nephew Jason Hart, Ogden, Utah. She had 7 grandchildren; Jordan Towe, Jesse Towe, Stefan Valenti, Virginia Nelson, Brody Fordham, Tyson and Briana Hamblin.
Daun will be missed by many and her memory will live on in all of us. Anytime you see an eagle you will see her as this was her favorite bird and you will know that she is watching down on all of us.
There will be no services for Daun and the family will have a private scattering at a time of their choosing.
