David Laine Batchelor

FARR WEST - David Laine Batchelor, 56, passed away at home of natural causes on Sunday, December 16, 2012. David was born on July 27, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas and Patsy Batchelor.

He married Debora J. Grigg on August 19, 1978 in the Ogden LDS Temple.

David studied and later taught at the OWATC of Ogden. He enjoyed spending time at home raising his kids, and also enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, camping and fishing. Later in life, his grandkids became the light of his life. David would often spin tales for his children and grandchildren of his experience with his family and friends of the open ranges and lands of his childhood.

David is survived by the love of his life, Debbie; four children, Jerril (Carla), Jessica (Paul) Mitchell, Jonathan (Tracy), Jordan; nine grandchildren, Thonalen, Shay Mitchell, Artimus, Gene-Patrick, Parker Mitchell, Spencer Mitchell, Graeson-Laine, Gentry-Robert and Nikko; brother, Thomas (Marilyn); sister, Christy and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mom, dad and his younger sister, Tammy.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Farr West LDS 6th Ward, 2132 West 2700 North, Farr West.

Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

David is truly loved and will be missed and loved by all his family and friends.
