RIVERDALE - David Gaston Brooke, 95, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 13, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Gilbert and Isabelle Thompson Brooke.

On November 25, 1937, David married Anna Marie Schoepko in Chicago, Illinois.

He was raised and educated in Chicago, moving to the Ogden area in 1969.

David was an active member of the Clearfield Community Church. He helped to build numerous churches throughout his lifetime.

He owned and operated an aluminum siding and remodeling business.

David was affiliated with Camp Utaba in Eden, Utah. He had his fixed wing pilot''s license. He enjoyed drafting, reading, square dancing, playing cards, golfing, constructing and building things for his family, caring for pets, motorcycling, playing horseshoes and camping, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie, Riverdale; two sons and two daughters, David D. (Verla) Brooke, Phoenix, AZ; Richard J. Brooke, Gail A. (Melvin) Carey and Debbie Brooke (Tim) Waite, all of Riverdale; 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family expresses thanks to the staff of Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center for the love and kindness they gave to our husband, father and grandfather.

Memorial services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Clearfield Community Church, 200 South 500 East, Clearfield, UT.

A reception at the church will follow the memorial service.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Clearfield Community Church Outreach and Mission programs.

Dad loved his family very much and we will miss him dearly.
