DAVID KERRY BROOKS

1956-2015

West Bountiful—Kerry, age 59 passed away February 18, 2015 following a courageous battle with Brain Cancer.  He was born January 1, 1956 to David Ross and Lueen Brooks.  Kerry married his sweetheart, Patty Minhondo on March 24, 1979.  In June of 1989, their daughter Mandy was born and became his greatest joy.  Together they shared their love of horses, creating everlasting memories.

Kerry worked as a Telecommunications Technician for 35 years.  He loved his work and took great pride in serving customers.  He was an avid lover of all animals.  Kerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family, and striking up conversations with friends.

He is survived by his wife Patty; daughter Mandy (Tyler) Mortensen, brothers-in-law Mike (Susie), and Bob (Kristin).  Also survived by niece, Bailee; nephews, Chase, Mason, Brock and Luke; special cousins Bonnie and Alan Garrett. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.  Family and friends may visit from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
