David G. Campbell

David G. Campbell passed away September 22, 2012 at his home. He was born December 3, 1950 in Provo, Utah the son of Garn Campbell and Bonnie Hansen. David married Ann Rollow February 15, 1980 in the Ogden Temple. Together they had three beautiful children, Kathryn (Kalob) Winterton, Jack (deceased) and Cynthia (Jacob) Cannon. They later divorced. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

David married Shanna Nelson December 28, 2004 and instantly became "Dadvid" to her seven children: Jason (Jennifer) Nelson, James Nelson, Melyssa (Edward) Vielstich, Chris Nelson, Nick (Cincere`) Nelson, Stephen Nelson, Cassie (Darin) Rivers. David was a proud grandpa to 23 grandchildren with one more due in February along with many nieces and nephews that he spoke of often.

David loved the Lord and was a quiet disciple of Jesus Christ. He could often be found reading and studying the word of God. He was always willing to help a neighbor or friend in need.

David will be dearly missed at the Clearfield Senior Center where he loved playing Bingo and made many friends. David was loved through the neighborhood. He loved walking and would stop and visit with everyone he met.

David is preceded in death by his mother and father and his son, Jack, along with his Aunt Gloria Simpson who he loved as much as a mother.

David is survived by his brothers, Randy Campbell, Chris (Deanne) Campbell and Glenn Campbell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Clearfield 7th Ward, 231 E. 300 No. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
