David Barber

David Barber (Dave), 31, died December 10, 2015 in South Jordan, Utah. He passed away due complications from injuries. Dave was born July 17, 1984, the youngest of five children. He lived many places, including Arizona, Virginia, Utah, Germany and Colorado, where his heart remained. He was deeply loved by his family and friends.  Dave will forever be known for his passion, his witty sense of humor, his depth of caring for those he loved, his open heart, and his kind spirit. Dave loved music and experienced much joy playing the bass and guitar and being in a band with many of his best friends. An avid soccer fan, Dave spent countless hours as a coach of youth soccer, helping young people develop their talent and love for the game. Dave was a beloved son, brother, uncle, Eagle Scout, and friend to many; he will be greatly missed.

Dave is survived by his parents, Bill and Lynnette Barber, and five siblings, Anne Barber (Mark), Bill Barber (Tara), Amy Barber, and April Barber Law (Travis). He leaves behind five nieces and eight nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William D. and LeDora Barber, Donald and Georgia Seager.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15 at the LDS Chapel at 4150 W. Old Hwy Rd in Mountain Green, Utah.  Friends may visit family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd, Layton, Utah and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.

On Saturday, December 19 there will be a memorial service at the LDS Chapel at 950 CO HWY 105, Monument, Colorado. Friends may visit family prior to the service.  Interment, Monument Cemetery.
