David Allen Ellery

March 14,1962~December 13, 2021

We lost our beloved David on Monday morning December 13, 2021, from an infection that took his life. He died peacefully at home in his favorite lounge chair.

He was born on March 14, 1962, in Scranton, PA. He felt his real home was in Put-In-Bay, Ohio where his father's homestead was.

He was a substitute teacher in the Davis School System.  He loved Layton High, Clearfield High and Legacy Jr. High and Centennial Jr. High.

He is survived by his Parents Tom and Jean Ellery of Layton. A brother Stephen {wife} KIM, and twin nieces Elisabeth and Meredith Ellery all of Canyon Lake, TX.  His Aunt Sarah Toole of Put-in-Bay.  Many cousins and a mountain of great friends.

There will be no funeral service and he will be cremated, and ashes taken to Ohio.

There will be a Gathering in Layton sometime in January for friends and family of his and his parents.  Thank you especially to Dr, Khaldoun Al-Rayess who helped him along in his various physical problems and that allowed us to have him a little longer.
