David Lawrence Greene

David Greene aka Grandpa Jelly Bean

Dave passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2025. He was born in Heber City, UT on March 3, 1939 to Arlene and Lawrence Greene. He has two of ‘The Greatest” sisters, Geri (Ray) Hoth and Pat (Jerry) West.

He lived in the Salt Lake/Sugarhouse area from 1941 until March 1956. Attended South High School his freshman and sophomore years. Graduated from San Rafael High School, San Rafeal, CA in 1960.

Dave entered the US Air force March 1956 at 16 yrs and 8 days old. He was honorably discharged in March 1960.

Dave married Judy Reams “The Soil Pep to our Garden” on April 14, 1962.

He had three “Fantastic” kids by 1970, of whom he was Very Proud!!! Jeff (Lindy) Greene, Michael (Angie) Greene, Suzie (Cory) Pope, Bobby Jo (Jake) Powell joined the family later. He also has 11 grandchildren (and spouses) along with 16 great grandchildren.

He was employed in the Aerospace Industry from 1962 to 1996.
