David Scott McTee

David Scott McTee

David Scott McTee, Sr., 65, devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

He was born July 19, 1942 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Leonard and Bertha Lavona Hurd McTee.

On June 4, 1962, David married Marie Louise Riley in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised three wonderful children.

David served in the US Army for three years in Polar Research and Development. He retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service as an Industrial Engineering Technician.

He had a heart of gold, always giving all he could to help others and bring smiles to everyone. His joy came from being with family and friends and spoiling his grandkids.

David is survived by his wife; a son, David Scott (Valerie) McTee, II, Clinton; two daughters, Lynda Marie (Sean) Miller, North Ogden; Tanya Louise Whitfield, Ogden; and nine grandchildren, whom he adored. He is also survived by a brother, James Alfred McTee, and a sister, Carol Ruth McTee Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond Arthur McTee, and his mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Searle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
