David Walter Miller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2012.
Dave was born October 27, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Benjamin and Sue Miller. He graduated from Davis High School where he met the love of his life Tamra Roundy. Dave and Tamra were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 19, 1958. They were blessed with four children, 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At the age of 16 Dave joined the National Guard serving for four years. He moved on to work at Hill Air Force Base for 31 years. Dave was one of the hardest workers that his family knows. He could fix anything and would never give up. Dave had a green thumb and kept his yard in top condition. When he wasn''t working he enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting and collecting tools.
Dave is survived by his wife Tamra; daughters: Lori (Ron) Harvey, Pam (Ray) Wilcox; sons: Jason (Sherri) Miller, Chris (Brooke) Miller; grandchildren: Nicole, Ben, Jacob, Jessica, Breanna, Britney, Bryce, Matt, Laura, Cameron, Colton, Bridger, Ashley, Kiley; and great-grandchildren: Ella, Isaac, Tyson and Amelia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Kaysville 4th Ward Chapel, 875 E. 200 N., Kaysville. Friends may visit with family Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church prior to services.
Interment, Kaysville Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Rd.
