David Montoya

December 4, 1958 — December 4, 2024

Our beloved dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024. He was born in Price, Utah, on December 4, 1958, to Ernie Montoya and Cordelia Valdez.

David is survived by his beloved children, Mica (granddaughter Parker), Irina, Ascencio, and David Jr. He is also survived by his four siblings, Sheila , Sally (Ernesto), Sandra, and Roger; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his two aunts. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Montoya; his mother, Cordelia Valdez; his sister, Shirley; and his niece, Sophie; his grandparents; and three uncles, Tio Ernesto, Delee, Marvin; and cousins.

His greatest loves were his children. They meant the world to him. He loved being their father and spending every possible moment with them. He enjoyed taking them to the park and making hamburgers for them at the park. Watching them play on the playground and going shopping to buy clothes and toys. He was a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Thank you to all of his friends who were there for him and the children. David and the children have some good friends.

We all will miss him and have him in our hearts forever.
