Our loving husband, dad, grandpa and brother, David Frank Stephenson, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born June 4, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Rulon W. and Frances Allen Stephenson. He was raised and educated in the Salt Lake City area.

On September 26, 1969, Dave married Zora King in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities.

Dave proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. His patriotism would show through every time a flag would pass and his eyes would fill with tears.

His family was his number one priority and his greatest joy.

Dave is survived by his wife, Zora; three children, five grandchildren, Brett (Tina Sweeney); Tricia (John) Morrow and their children, Alexis, Oakleigh and Kassidy; Nichole Jones and her children, Logan and Ashley; two sisters, Rulene Montgomery and Sharron Schneider.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janet.

The family would like to thank Bonneville Dialysis doctors, technicians and staff for the outstanding care given to Dave.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1st at 11 a.m. at the Fremont Ward Chapel, 4675 West 5500 South, Hooper.

The family will meet friends for a visitation on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
