David M. Strain

David M. Strain David M. Strain, 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. He was born on March 20, 1954 to Ernest and Marilyn Strain in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Bonneville High School. He married Maryanne Munford on January 21, 1977 in Ogden. David worked at Smith’s Food for 32 years and was a meat cutter by trade. He was a jokester and had a great sense of humor. He loved reading and his puppies. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting, loved gardening and tending his fruit trees, but most of all spending time with his grandkids. David is survived by his loving wife, Maryanne; sons, Travis, Steve (Jacci) and Chad (Cassiea); grandkids, Madisen, Carson, Anderson, Mason, Baylee, Hunter, Jackson, Rylee, Hayden and Khloey; brother, Martin (Linda) Strain and sisters, Evelyn (John) Olsen and Jennifer Ball. He was preceded in death by his parents. His family is grateful for his AA family and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
