David Merlin Thompsen

David Merlin Thompsen, 65, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012.

He was born December 18, 1946 in Ogden, Utah to John Merlin and Ila Hansen Thompsen.

Dave was the most loving and kind person. He never complained and loved others unconditionally. He kept track of everybody and always remembered everyone''s birthday.

His great love in life was sports, the Chicago Bears, the New York Yankees and the Jazz. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Bingo.

Dave was a member of the LDS Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and step-father, Bill Anderson.

Dave is survived by his siblings Marty Jessop, Vickie (Doug) Tanner, Randy Thompsen, Kim (Terri) Thompsen, and Cathy Anderson, his step-mother, Pauline Thompsen and many nieces and nephews, who will miss him. The family wishes to sincerely thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Heritage Park Care Center for the love and care they gave to Dave.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 4th at 2 p.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850 North.
