My Love''s Gone Fish''in! Nothing could keep my husband down!
SUNSET a" Dad drew and was rewarded with a once in a lifetime hunt for moose. This hunt was very soon after a major surgery. He was very active in organizing Shad Rallies at Lake Powell. Even with his active outdoor pursuits, dad managed to create a family involved in all he loved. He taught each of his children to bait a hook and shoot. He taught all he loved to hike, hunt and fish. Thus the Famous Wallace tours were born.
Dad was employed at Hill Air Force Base for 37 years. He was actively involved in the Utah Sportsman Association, President of the Utah Wildlife and Recreation Federation, Bandana Ranch and was a Bass Club Member. He was always concerned that we actively conserve the wildlife for the next generations to come, and his associations lobbied with the legislature.
After his retirement he filled his life with the creation of Wally Lures which opened a whole world of wonderful new friends. A dream come true for him was a membership in a house boat and the opportunity to spend time on his beloved Lake Powell.
He leaves only for a moment his loving family, Karen his wife, his two sons, David (Kathy) and Terry, his seven daughters and their husbands, Karin (Mike), Jacque (Sherman), Laura (Jerry), Jeanne (Mike), Jolene (Carl), Cathy (Joel), and Sherrie (Warren), 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are his sister Betty Sudweeks, and brother, Verl Wallace.
Preceded in death by his eight brothers, two sisters and his grandson Matthew Bolton.
