David L. Wayman
OGDEN – David LaMar Wayman, 60, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his home in Ogden.
He was born March 28, 1949 in Ogden, a son of Leland LaMar and Margaret Owen Wayman.
Dave married Mary Loomis and they were later divorced. He married Cheryl Panter and they later divorced.
He was a very skilled mechanic who loved working on cars. He was the owner of Wayman Auto for many years.
Dave was an avid sportsman and enjoyed skiing, waterskiing, and many other outdoor activities.
He served with the U.S. Air Force Reserves and attended Weber State University.
Surviving are his children, Sherrie Wayman, San Francisco, CA; Hollie (David) Dunn, Sammamish, WA; Jake (Maryann) Wayman, Ogden; Sara Wayman, Seattle, WA; Jennie (Taylor) Hansen, Ogden; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and five sisters, Brent M. Wayman, and Steven O. (Jan) Wayman, both of Ogden; Marlene Hill, California; Joanne (Ralph) Peterson, St. George; Barbara Robinson-Carroll, Provo; Margene Anderson, Bountiful; Kathleen (Nicholas) Marcucci, Washington.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald R. Hill and Kelly L. Wayman.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
