David Kay Wilcox, aged 84, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 20, 2024. He was born on July 10, 1939 in Preston, Idaho to David A. and Edith Wilcox. He was a resident of Bountiful, Utah and was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Green River, Wyoming class of 1958. David served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central States Mission from 1960-1962.
He married Priscilla Faye Sutton on September 24, 1965, in the Salt Lake Temple. David and Faye always wanted a dozen kids. They had six children “and then married the other six”. Later, he served five additional missions with his eternal companion, Faye and was grateful for all his opportunities to serve the Lord.
David worked as a Customer Engineer with IBM for 30 years, perfecting his problem-solving skills. He loved to share his talents and his tools. David was able to tackle any project for his family or friends and was always willing to lend a hand, or both if you needed :) His neighborhood farm-good deliveries will forever be missed.
David is preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda. He is survived by his wife, Faye; his three sisters, Yvonne, Vicki, and Lorna; his children David Michael (Jill), Dean (Aleece), Doug (Brenda), Danale (Kirk), Priscilla (Mike), Darin (Christina), 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary (727 North 400 East).
