Dawn L. Pachuca

Dawn Lujean Pachuca, 66, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, "Happy Anniversary, Babe", at her home in Roy, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born March 31, 1943 in Ogden, a daughter of Francis J. and Donna Clark Wilson.

On July 2, 1966, Dawn married John Pachuca, the love of her life, in Ogden. They were married for 43 years and went through many trials and tribulations, still remaining in love to the end.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She worked at Valley View Golf Course for a number of years, but loved being a house wife and watching court TV most of all.

Dawn enjoyed playing pinochle and canasta. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and playing the slot machines in Wendover for days on end. Most of all, Dawn loved her family, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a significant happiness in her life.

Surviving are her husband, John, of Roy; two sons and two daughters, John S. Gemar, Darcy D. (Linda) Pachuca, Fonda S. Bourque, D''sha A. Greenhalgh, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her mother, Donna C. Wilson, one brother, Blaine R. (Sandy) Wilson, and two sisters, Frances R. (Larry) Anderson and Marlene (Cliff) Nelson.

Dawn was preceded in death by her two children, Henry O. Gemar III and Penny L. Gemar; and her father, F.J. Wilson.

As per Dawn''s request, no funeral services will be held.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society.
