Dawn Marie Yazzie

Our Heavenly Father was short an angel, so he called our mother to return to Him in Heaven. Dawn Marie Butcher Yazzie, 32, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008, at her home.

She was born April 24, 1975 in Ogden, Utah to David Brent and Linda Spendlove Butcher.

Dawn graduated from Clearfield High School and Stevens-Henager College of Certified Nursing Assistant program. She worked at a number of nursing homes and day care centers.

She married Kelvin Yazzie in June of 2002 and they were later separated. Dawn is the mother of two sons, Joshua David Butcher and Matthew Kelvin Yazzie.

Dawn is survived by her sons, parents, sister Cherry Lynn Butcher, Clinton; brother Casey Wayne Butcher, Marriott-Slaterville; grandparents Wayne and Deyon Spendlove, Morgan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Joseph and LaJet Butcher, whom she loved dearly, and her great-grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the mortuary,

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Dawn will be deeply missed.
