Dean Lindley, devoted husband and father, born on January 17, 1937 in Logan, Utah. With his loving family by his side, he peacefully returned home to his loving Heavenly Father. He married the love of his life, Darlene Lythgoe on December 9, 1955. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple in 1963. He proudly served as a member of the United States Marine Corp Reserves. He retired from Continental Bakery after 48 years of dedicated service. His passion in life was the great outdoors, spending many hours hunting and fishing. He was an avid gun enthusiast and participated in countless mountain man rendezvous competitions. He was a member of the Ogden Valley Muzzlers and the Lewis & Clark Volunteers. He and his wife were members of the Mount Ogden Four Wheelers and the Citizens Band Radio Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene; three sons, Robert Lindley (Maggie), Wayne Lindley (Cathy) and Richard "Sam" Lindley (Ralene); nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon Lindley; and sister, Dorothy Hall. He was preceeded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. The family would like to thank the physicians and nursing staff at ORMC for their outstanding care and support.
