Deann Lynn Woodland Flinders

November 13, 1970 ~ April 3, 2016

Deann Lynn Woodland Flinders was born in Layton, UT on November 13, 1970, the daughter of Cheryll E. and the late Larry Paul Woodland. She passed away Sunday April 3, 2016 while surrounded by family at Davis Hospital.

Deann married her best friend, Brian K Flinders, son of Colyn and Barbara Flinders, in the Logan LDS Temple on May 28, 1999. Deann, husband Brian and son Max made their home in West Point, UT.

Deann loved people. She was friendly and outgoing with all she met. She was generous with her time and talents. Deann loved the outdoors, flyfishing, camping, arranging flowers, home decor and making wreaths.

She served as a foster mom to several children before having a long awaited son of her own.

Deann was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings.

Deann is survived by her husband, Brian, one son, Max, her mother, Cheryll E. Woodland, twin brother, Deane P. Woodland (Ann¬Marie) and their children, her grandmother (Nana), Mary E. Davis, Auntie Barb (Steven Jepson) and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Pearl Woodland, grandfather, Ret. Lt. Cmdr. L.A. Davis, uncle Ret. Cmdr. W.B. (Barry) Davis and her father Larry P. Woodland.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the West Point 5th Ward Chapel, 300 North 3500 West. The family will meet with friends Thursday, April 7th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the West Point 5th Ward LDS chapel.

Interment, West Point Cemetery.
