Deanna Winegar

July 2, 1946 ~ December 3, 2020

Deanna Winegar, our beautiful love, left us for a glorious reunion in heaven with her parents.  Deanna was born on July 2, 1946 to Ralph Lee and Mary Johnson Winegar in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her education in Farmington. She married Glen Elwood Bramble on April 2, 1976 in the Ogden Temple, they later divorced.

Deanna loved the outdoors especially camping and fishing with her brothers. She was such a ray of sunshine in her family's life. She was known for always thinking of her friends and had an outstanding level of  thoughtfulness when it came to others, especially children. She was always teaching others’ love through her kindness and generosity exemplified in her life. She loved children and caring for them in the nursery at church as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Deanna worked several jobs throughout her life, but especially loved working at Joe’s Greenhouse in Layton transplanting flowers and vegetables.

Deanna was blessed with a host home, which became her second family years ago. She is considered a member of the family and is loved dearly. Deanna loved both of her “mom’s” Jan and Leslie. She was her brothers’ Kyler and Korbin's biggest fan, never missing a chance to cheer them on in everything they did. Deanna and her best friend Daniel did everything together, an inseparable pair. She loved family vacations including Disney World, a cruise, and the annual winter trip to West Yellowstone was always her favorite. Deanna loved her time at Enable Utah, knitting hats, and being with her friends. She was an active member of the Warren Ward, where she loved all her callings, and routinely attended the Weber North Special Needs Mutual.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mary, three brother’s RJ (Ralph Johnson), Darrel, Craig, and brother-in-law Willie Hemphill. She is survived by her brother Neil (Jean) of Arizona, and her sister Janeen Hemphill of Utah, along with many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Enable Utah Enrichment Program, 535 Stockman Way Ogden, Utah 84401, in honor of Deanna, so her friends may have more opportunities to go on field trips.

A special thanks to her aides of many years, and to all her nurses who took such great care of her in her final hours at ORMC.
