Debbie Lee Blake Parr

February 9, 1958-October 1, 2021

Debbie was born in Missoula Montana on Feb. 9, 1958, to William James Blake and Laura Lee Noquez. She passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 1, 2021.

She was raised from a child on Guam, spending over 30 years on the island developing a great love of the people and Chamorro culture, which she carried with her for the rest of her life. She loved the Island immensely, but life eventually brought her and her family to Utah in the early 2000’s, and although she no longer lived on Guam, she never hesitated to share the culture she loved with those she met throughout her life.

Debbie had a long and dedicated career of 19 years of service at Walmart, where she made countless friends who quickly became family, as well as gaining the adoration of the community along the way.

Those who knew her knew that she loved God, her family, helping others, and bringing joy to those around her. Her genuine kindness, welcoming heart, and open arms will be sorely missed by those she leaves behind.

She cared about people dearly and always made an effort to help those that she could, no matter the circumstance. She made such an impact on so many people’s lives, and now we come to celebrate hers, the one she served here with us on Earth, and now her eternal life with God above.

She is survived by her loving Mother Laura Noquez, her sisters: Bonnie, Sharon, and Laurie, Her husband of 33 years Herbert Parr, Her four children Toni, Antonio, Suzanna, Jerilyn, and bonus son J-Aaron, and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Thursday from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.
