Deborah Ann Hurley Buckley
Deborah Ann Hurley Buckley, age 69, passed away peacefully in her room at North Canyon Care Center in Bountiful on January 24, 2022, after a prolonged period of infirmity.
She was born in Bloomington, Illinois on August 31, 1952 to William Hurley and Mary Oliviero. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was 18 and it was her testimony of Jesus Christ that gave her the strength she needed to face and overcome the many struggles she encountered throughout her life. She married Danny Lynn Buckley May 8, 1973 in the Manti Temple and together they had 8 children.
She was a dynamic, intelligent, and creative woman who had a full life. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends, and during the last years of her life she especially enjoyed making frequent phone calls to her loved ones.
She is survived by her sister Rebecca Thorold, as well as her eternal companion Danny Buckley, her eight children, Eden, Jacy, Sarah, Haley, Kelsey, Tanner, Alex, Taryn, as well as twenty-two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hurley and Mary Oliviero, her brother, Michael Hurley, and three grandchildren, Ian, Madison, and Aidan Workman.
