Debbie passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 as a result of an unexpected brain aneurysm.

She was born on November 5, 1955 in Orlando, Florida, the only child of Roy and Vera Hall.

She married Brent Cottam on November 21, 1976 in Ogden, Utah.

Debbie loved gardening and was known for her green thumb. She had many house plants that she loved. She loved ceramics, camping, and spending time with family. She loved Christmas dinners and having dinner with her sisters-in-law. She was a hard worker and dedicated home maker, in addition to being employed full-time.

She was a great cook and would have the entire family over every Sunday for dinner. She brought joy to everyone around her.

Debbie was well loved by friends and family. She was always smiling and full of life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Brent, and two sons, Andy (Jenny) and David. She has one grandson, Desmond, and another grandchild on the way. At a young age Debbie had a daughter (Heather) who was placed for adoption with a loving family.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vera Hall.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 am at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
