Debra Ann Newman Manning
August 18, 1951 ~ March 27, 2016
Debra (Nan) Manning, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on March 27, 2016 from natural causes. She was the youngest of four siblings, born August 18, 1951, to Marchant “Mac” and Edna Newman in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Ogden High in 1969 and later received an Associate Degree from Stevens-Henager College. She met her husband Max Manning in December of 1976 and they later married in December 1978 in Hooper, Utah.
Debra loved being with her two girls and grandkids; if that was all there was in life she would have been the happiest person around. They were what she lived for; she could not spoil any of them enough. She loved cooking and spoiling her beloved husband also. She was very proud of her son-in-laws and always made comments that she could not have picked a better man for either of her daughters.
She is survived by her husband Max, daughters Keri (Morgan) Wilson, and Jamie (Brock) Uhlig; four of the greatest grandchildren: Mitchell, Gage, Tatum and Bristol. She is also survived by her brother Gary Newman and sister Joyce Lasko. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Terri Slater.
Nan, although you left us far too soon, you will always be with us, Love your Family.
The family will meet with friends and family on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Mortuary.
