Debra Lynn Walters, 69, of Utah, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones, with her devoted husband Terry by her side.

Born on November 18, 1955, in Galax, Virginia, Debra met the love of her life, Terry Curtis Walters, while working at a Baptist hospital in North Carolina, where she was training to become a dietitian. Their love story began there, and they were united in marriage on October 1, 1983. Together, they welcomed two beautiful daughters. Relocating to Utah to be closer to Terry's family, where they built their life together.

Debra was a dedicated professional who managed the Bountiful location of Your Valet Cleaners for many years before becoming a business owner.

More importantly, she was a loving mother who made every holiday special for her children and a devoted wife who shared countless adventures with Terry. Together, they enjoyed camping, fishing, road trips and bowling as teammates in local leagues, where they both excelled. Debra also dedicated her time to their daughters' Girl Scout activities, embodying her commitment to family and community.

Throughout her life, Debra held a deep faith, believing in and loving God. Her faith was an important part of who she was and guided her throughout her journey.

Debra is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Terry Curtis Walters; her daughters, Davina Jean Brand (husband Ryan Dean Brand) and Jennifer Renee Record (husband Cory Victor Record); and her three cherished grandchildren, Ryker Dean, Radison Bailey, and Raider Ryan Brand.

She also leaves behind many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Falton Morris and Ila Folena Morris; her sister, Patricia Ann Morris; and her in-laws, Boyd Curtis Walters and Shelby Jean Walters.

Debra made deep and lasting friendships throughout her life, cherishing each relationship she built. Her warmth, dedication to family, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her - from family members to the many friends she loved dearly. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared with her family, her treasured friendships, and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.
