Delbert Eugene Geddes
SALT LAKE CITY a" A gregarious, out-going, fun loving guy left us on Friday, August 27, 2010, but still with a twinkle in his eye and dimples in his cheeks. Delbert Eugene Geddes was born on November 25, 1938 in Sterling, Colorado to Frank and Agnes McBride Geddes.
Del was a talented draftsman with special expertise in architectural drawings and plumbing/heating design. His career spanned working for various businesses in Ogden and Salt Lake City, and culminated in Las Vegas as Mechanical Design Engineer for Desert Plumbing and Heating. He was well respected among his professional cohorts.
Del was a prankster and always loved a joke. Easy to get along with, accommodating, and quick witted, he brought many smiles to many faces, and fond memories to those who were fortunate to pass his way. He was a devoted husband and father.
Del is survived by his wife, Toni; daughters, Geri and Lisa; step-son, Nathan Davis (Wendy); step-daughter, Carrie Johnson (Landon); 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother, John Geddes (Joyce); sister, Maxine Garner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Nila Richens, sons, James and Brent, and three sisters.
